Go MINI magazine sighting

I was in Borders bookstore in Folsom, CA, yesterday and came across a copy of Go MINI magazine. I asked the cashier if finding it in their store meant that other Borders stores carried it, too. She said yes. (But to be honest, she didn't sound certain of it.)

Anyway, I thought I'd pass this on in case anyone else is looking for it. If you've been wanting to check it out, try your nearest Borders store.

FWIW, I wasn't all that impressed with it - especially with a subscription price of something like $135/yr. to the US!

GoMINI is finally showing up an Barnes & Noble stores around here. I've seen it at the Copeland Road store in Arlington and at the University store in Fort Worth. They seem to stay about one month behind the current issue, though. Cost per issue: $9.99.

And Tower Records in Southern California has them, although the rep told me that they are not selling too well. I am probably the only one that buys them from the Tower at the Tustin Marketplace. They also stock Mini World.

Just when I think I'll let all my car magazine subscriptions expire I get something like this:

One year subscription to Road and Track for $7.00.

Ok, it's not a MINI mag, but for that price I'm sending back the card.

Hey guys. Is this magazine for real or just a mini funded marketing scam?
It reads like many other publications where they are pushing specific brands (for example Sony has a mag like this, Nike...)
Just wondering, I love the pics as well but when readers ask questions in regard to after market products they always bet for JCW parts .
PS: It's hard to find a copy at Barne's...every time I go the ten copies they stock are gone!
