This is me (pre MCS) with my old Cooper. She looked like that for about a day... then the mods began :smile: Oh, that's my Maxima in the background (my other baby).

Here I am receiving my box of brownies ...it actually turned out to be a crystal trophy Bonus The gent next to me is Rich Fisher from channel 7 news in Detroit. The camera is just out of frame. The other guys knows everything about every car there...probably the MC No...I didn't put up them checkered flags. They placed them around the wiener cars

You well deserve it as you have been an inspiration to many here on NAM with all that you have done with your beautiful S, including yours truly. Thanks for representing us Mini owners in such 'classy' fashion. You are the man! Congrats!

Thanks...just lucky this time. I was caught off guard and a little embarrassed with the attention. One trophy is good enough for me:smile: I like to go to shows because it doesn't cost much more to be IN the show and I get to sit next to my favorite ride and meet tons of great enthusiasts Lookn forward to the vid...

She does! She is an All Jet Black MCS with chrome bonnet stripes and a grey metallic Union Jack sunroof flag. Those driving lights are PIAAs....

alright, i'll bite too... here is the one and only pic i have of my baby so far (broke my digi cam about a week before picking up the car ). i'm the dork on the right with the red shirt. my wife is on the left. the rest are checkin out my new wheels. actually, the guy in the drivers seat has his own mini a few cars up from mine (he's on this forum a bit too).

Took advantage of the empty fantail on the ferry and clicked a few pics crossing the Straights of Messina earlier this week. Great ride down the Italian coastline by the way! The only bad thing about this trip was its purpose: dropping of Q-Ball to have her shipped. : (
