So I had just finished bowling with the Youth Group at my Church, and on my way home I stop at a red light. One of the kids parents from my Church pulls up next to me in her Dodge Durango V8, and she wants to race. The light turns green and we take off, I peel out pretty bad and smoke her hitting about 70 in a 45. As I slow down to hear her son's excuse of their car being twice as heavy as mine (to which I responded, "you also have twice the engine&quot, I see the red lights flashing. He gave the usual lecture and I was thinking "this is not going to be cheap". Then he says he's not going to give me a ticket, and starts asking about how my car handles and what kind of gas mileage it gets!!! It was so awesome, I almost asked him if he wanted to take it for a spin. I love this car!!!

 

Oooh that was a close one! No Radar dector? But then again if he was just behind you he did not need the radar.

 

Well.. The Mini will slip and peel off the paint on the crosswalk... used that as an excuse...

As far as the Vs V8.... the torque in a tiny lil car like the mini will haul it off like a rock in a slingshot... yet it lacks that first gear lightning it should have...

I wouldn't race with children in either car... but luckily no one got Hurt!
