D'oh! Haha, that sucks.

But at least yours is already at the dealership! The owner's lounge said mine should get to the dealership on the 19th (estimated date)...

We in America are not used to having to wait for cars on a regular basis, but in Europe, where dealers keep very low inventories, this seems to be the par for car buying.

Hang in there!

Wow a month and a half to ship a car? That's crazy.

I'm beyond frustrated. I think I'm sick.

I check miniusa.com every day for an update. (It’s now En Route.) I’ve rebuilt my car what seems like hundreds of times. I read the forums most every day. I bought a Cooper S hat and key chain. The car care shelf in the garage already has convertible top products. I’ve watched The Italian Job at least three times. I’m researching driving schools. The wallpaper on my computers and mobile phone are Mini Cabrio images. I took more photos of the Minis I saw on our recent vacation in Japan than of all the interesting sites. I’ve already picked out the hats and jacket and sweat shirt I’ll keep in the back of my new car for those cold nights. I want to cancel our vacation in late June because I don’t want to leave my new car.

My MA said it should hit port on May 20. Maybe I'll have it for Memorial Day Weekend.
