Time to leave work.

You MINIacs in the southern regions of North America, and our brothers and sisters in Hawaii don't know what your're missing!

We're having another major snow storm in Toronto NOW! The roads are covered with snow and slush. And guess what?

I LOVE THIS CAR IN THE SNOW!

It's like a little tank. I'm leavin' work early and finding side streets to plow through. My MCS sticks to the road like glue. I need space to throw some 180s and 360s together! (And the Moss skid plate gives me extra weight and protection where I need it!).

Let's Go Kids. Whose with me.................??????

Hmmm . . .

Rygold, your MCS may still like glue, but when mine encounters three snowflakes standing together, it sticks like teflon. My driveway has a slight incline and when there is about two inches of snow, Alice won't budge. I agree with you, once I get to the road it's a ball to drive, but I've pushed her out four times now and that's getting old.

I still can't get over how much I love this car. I have a passion for my old British irons, they are sleeping in the garage, but it pales in comparison with my MINI. It goes faster, corners better, stops quicker, is more comfortable, and doesn't leak on the floor than my other beasties. Housebroken right from the factory !

Maybe if I had some extra $$$, I'd buy some new wheels and snow tires and go play like you, but for now, I'll just pick my days to motor.

Just remember, play nice !

Marty

Rygold (and everyone else in the snow): what tires are you running?

I checked on tireracks website, the Pirelli 240's are the only oem size for the 17's for winter tires, anybody using them?
