Found out that even though I've got a Jan. 10 build date, my MC (silver w/ black top, all packages) is already in the paint shop I sat down, went throught all the faults, fixes, and problem posts and made notes, plus printed out a bunch of people's posts so that I'll be ready w/ MY pre-delivery inspection after the dealership does theirs- hoping for a trouble-free Cooper. Just wondering as I impatiently wait the last couple of months: how many Oregon MINI owners are there on MCO? Are there any MINI clubs in this state?

You know I'm not from Oregon, but I totally envy your location.
If only I could take my MCS along highway 101 from Seaside to the Crescent city.
The highway running along the Smith River in Northern CA/Southern OR is a great ride for a car like the MCS.
Wish I was there.
