I love buy cars in NYC area, there are so many dealers around. You can just shop around to find the best deal

Okay, two things: 1) My '05 MCS is going to cost me about $27,700 (description below) from Baron Mini here in Kansas City. They have a couple of '05s on the lot which I could've gotten a discount on, but like others on this thread, I wanted mine to have certain options.

And 2) You're 23 and you have a Porsche, a Mercedes, and you're buying an MCS for your woman... ...I have got to know what you do for a living so I can start doing that first thing tomorrow morning!

No...seriously!

You know, I hope I don't sound like a spoiled rich kid, but if I'm paying anywhere between $22,500 and $25 or $26,000 plus for a car, I'm not going to sweat $500. I might spend a minute or two feeling out the dealer to see what's up with discounts, but after that, forget it. MSRP is ok with me.

I went to 2 Mini dealer in city area, they all offered some discount but I like the sales person at the second dealer There are more competition in NY, as I know there are over 7 Mini dealers within 100 miles.I am a Importer/Exporter. My partner know many people in those big retail stores such as Target K-mart Walmart, and I have my way to get stuff from other country very cheap.

I'm paying $27,449 for my '04 MC40. I think that's the price, could be a couple hundred off. I don't have a problem paying that, being that it's 1 of 1000 made (and no, it's not #1, I'd pay a hell of a lot more than that for the 1st model), and out of the entire USA, that's a good limited number Should have it in a week, reserved at MINI of Pittsburgh as we speak:smile:

Dave.
