R50/53 Clock in Mini Cooper went to 0:01 at 12:01 midnight

Last night at Midnight the clock in my Mini read 0:01 thru 0:59 for the entire midnight hour. Is this normal...at noon it reads 12:00 not 0:00...

It seems that your clock is set to a 24 hout time format. You can switch between 12 and 24 hour formats by pressing and holding both buttons on the clock.

yes, your clock has a 12 and 24 hour mode.

Hi, I don't have my car yet, but I've read here and on other boards that the midnight hour reads 0:xx on the clock regardless of whether you have it set for the 12 or 24 hour mode...

Bingo. That's what mine does, and I use the AM/PM setting.
