R50/53 Road & Track Review: MCS ; PT Cruiser Turbo; VW Beetle Turbo
What's with the 7.7sec 0-60 for the MCS?? That's the worst time I've seen yet. I tell ya, these magazine reporters have to stop hiring their grandmothers to do the test driving. It's making us look bad.
There's no way that 3300lb piece-a-chit Cruiser is going to beat *MY* MCS. No freakin' way! Bring it! "Hi,.......my name is Mark, and I'm a PT hater, and not afraid to admit it.
Cheers,

Read the issue and have to admit, the "read between the lines" the MCS was the most fun and preferred car among most everyone.
Best of the three, I thought, but I could be biased - somewhat - a little - kind of.

And my favorite part of the article? The MINI is the new slalom record holder for R&T. It flew through the cones almost 1 mph faster than the previous record holder, a Porsche 911 GT2!
I live by an old BMW slogan..."Happiness is not around the corner...happiness IS the corner." Looks like I ordered the right car!

Yeah, you have to read betwixt the lines...of course the PT Cruiser Turbo should handily beat the MCS in a straight line, look at the difference in horsepower...fact of the matter, I did NOT buy an MCS for straight line speed...it's the twistys that make the adrenalin flow...
The front cover says it all...who's first, and what's following?
