I own a Mazda Miata as well as a Mini Cooper S and the Miata websites show the sales figures ,with a breakdown of the colorsand special editions that were sold for a particular year . I was wondering if MINI has let the sales figures out for the '02 model year yet . I haven't got the time to look back to past posts I may have missed . BTW I am VERY happy with my '02 Electric Blue Mini Cooper S ,it now has over 5000 miles and has been reliable from the start!!

I've seen these figures posted on the Roadfly site from time to time, but I'm not sure what the original source is. When I get a chance I'll see if I can fin d the link to the most recent post over there.

By the way, welcome to MCO samsdad!

Ok, Here is the link for the year-to-date sales figures for MINI.

Again, I don't know where this info comes from originally...

It comes from official press releases from the BMW Group. They are located on this website: http://www.press.bmw.de

Technically you need to be a member of the "press" to get a username and password but you could probably sign up without being one.

Thanks guys , did you loook at the figures ? Is it true that BMW is cutting back on allocations to keep the MINI less common and more desirable ?
