I guess I am pretty slow. I never would've thought of reading it backwards.

In the UK we're stuck with...

aa99aaa styling for plates.. where 99 can be 01 / 51 / 02 / 52

I tried for SS52SSS but it had gone by the time i tried to register (£450 one off cost)

Got any ideas???

I've seen all kinds of ideas on the mini usa website. If you're trying to use the "mini theme". I kind of like "asfltrt" (asphalt art) I know you have to be a creative reader to get it when it's all lumped together like that but it's still good. Also there's YESSSSS. Or shrtcut. Or cenicrt (scenic route). Or minijam. Look over the site and see what you can find.

Mini on motorers!

Just ordered " 1 MINI " for my 'S'. In georgia some of the base ones were already gone such as MINI or MINI S etc etc and I'm not too keen on the cute plates

But I am also getting a British front plate for shows....not sure yet if it will be a custom or not.

I just ordered MINI 1 in Arizona, I had this same plate back 20 years ago and it was available again. This is my eighth Mini. I currently own a 1961 Mini and a 2002 MCS

I have to give up my plates since I am moving to Colorado, but (yes in California) I have the Wyland plate that reads GBSMCKD, those who have been to the UK know that it is a term used when utterly surprised, the wind taken out of you, in shock, can't believe it, in otherwords... Gobsmacked.

I'll try and get them again in Colorado. I almost got and had as a second choice PRSHRNK (preshrunk). I opted for Gobsmacked because 1. I was able to get one 2. it came 2 months early. I was Gobsmacked!

In Australia, old Mini Coopers and Cooper S' were known as Flying Bricks. I'm planning on getting BR1CK (BRICK is taken) or possibly BUZZ (Yellow S with a black roof and bonnet stripes).

>>If we could get personal plates here in Holland i'd go for MINIAC, but i'll just keep dreaming while I drive with our ugly Yellow billboards. Got to say I like the T1H5 ON.
>>Won't be mine but like the brains to figure that one.

Miniac91

I, personally, am glad to hear you are in Holland! I would like to use Miniac if I can still get it - God knows it fits! I didn't want to "steal" it though because it was so perfect I felt like I would be violating your originality by using it. I have been procrastinating with the application (been on the desk for weeks) and was planning to submit for Mini2Go, but would prefer Miniac! If I can get it, please consider it more "homage" than plagiarism

I was thinking of doing something along the lines of "Mini ME" but not only does that not even apply to my personality..... it would just be using the fact that the car is a mini..... so it doesn't really suit me...... i'm thinking about maybe "IM Mini" LOL that could be taken the wrong way though...... perhaps "I Motor" or "Mini LV" or the perverted sense of humor in me could choose something like "MSTRB8" LOL i don't know..... there are too many choices and most of them are probably taken already!! so it's a tough decision!

Well, my "SPROG" liscence plates just came in today! Now are a wunnerful part of me banner! Sprog means "little one" in British Slang, or as Sirron pointed out to me, its what the new recruits of the RAF are called.
