R50/53 A "BING" at 37 degrees...

I know one way to have black ice at 37 degrees is on the North side of a hill high enough to shade the road surface all day. Assuming the ground is frozen of course. Moisture in the relatively warm air condenses on the frozen road surface. This isn't chemistry to me though. I remember chemistry was 95% math and I sucked at math!

Today saw a high of 14F,the roads in the city were so greasy and icy with the sun hitting them,cars were sliding around.Well Poco was not sliding though,we just motor along
