Passanger seat belt light?

Question - I noticed the other day the passenger without his seat belt on didn't show up a light in the dash. I can't remember if this was always the case... Does the light only come on for the driver?

What does your car do for a passenger un-seat belted? My car is a Dec. '03 build.

I think my car only does it for the driver. I'd have to check my sisters 05 MCC but I think there both only for the driver.

It wouldnt make much sense to put in a passenger seatbelt light. Whenever you drive by yourself, this little indicator would be bugging the crap out of you...it would me, anyway.

Unless you could disable it, then I think it would be kinda cool. Im a stickler for seatbelts in my car, unless the passenger deserves a good asphault kick in the face!

Unless, as in most cars, there is a sensor in the passenger's seat to indicate if that seat is occupied.
