Chemical Guys has too many different products & are pricey. I have had good luck with their VRP, Headlight restoration & Butter wax but, I have always been a Meguiars guy for years because it works…

As a detailing enthusiast, I truly believe making your car look good while protecting it is more about that fact that you do something versus which products you use.
That said, I certainly have my opinions on some brands: of course, I generally avoid Chemical Guys although their VRP has been highly regarded.
I think Adams is pretty good and I use some of their products regularly. I bought their compound and polish to compare to the products I used to paint correct my Volvo XC90. Although I am quite satisfied with how those products (Wolfgang) performed, I am curious to work with other products for comparison and to learn.
The majority of my products, however, are from online vendors I've learned about from detailing forums and YouTube. Since detailing is one of my hobbies, I just enjoy trying different products and keeping the products I like best around.
