For those of you wanting to upgrade your factory stereo (non-HarmonKarden) I've attached an extremely helpful video. I now have Bluetooth-enabled music, maps, telephone/microphone, etc. (see pic, I used the same unit but did not install the backup camera ... maybe another day). Installation was pretty easy even for someone who's color-blind like me (wiring can be a challenge) and only cost me around $75 total ($50 for the unit and another $25 for faceplate/antenna converter/plug converter) and a couple hours of labor. And it fits so well that it looks factory.
Interestingly, it pulls up my OBD Fusion app, not the Dash Command app (doesn't appear on the touchscreen) that I prefer. It details speed, RPMs, coolant temp and trip info but that's all. I installed it primarily for music and telephone. I have the original six speakers plus a sub-woofer and the stereo sounds great. The small microphone is contained within a foam cover and filters outside noise really well during a call (exhaust for instance). I may or may not hook up the rearview camera. With a single din screen the view is not very large but you'll notice on the video I attached that it appears to be adequate. Honestly, the camera doesn't make much sense to me on such a small car with large windows and major sitelines. Overall, I'm super pleased with the result, especially for the small $$$ outlay. Quality seems fine but I'll gauge that in another 12 months if it's still functional.
Nope. IOS on my iPhone. Not sure why it's pulling up OBD Fusion but not the Dash Command app that I prefer because it gives you more info than you'll ever use.
It's listed on Amazon as "Bigorq" (see the link above) but it's marketed under multiple brand names. I was looking for inexpensive and found it in this unit. I will say, though, that I'm impressed by the quality for such a low price. If this one craps out within a year I'll just buy another one. It would end up costing me $4/month.

I have a power acoustics cp71 installed by previous owner. I want to hate it because a touchscreen is so much worse than tactile buttons, and the horizontal screen is sub-optimal for directions, but I'm not in any rush to swap it out. Sounds all right, makes phone calls, shows maps, connects to android auto or iOS or if your device isn't eligible for either it'll do just plain bluetooth. Downside of this model is $100-150 retail and no volume **** (just up-down buttons).
Law of unintended consequences ... my new single-din stereo will not allow my dash cam to work normally. The cam records to the SD card (not the Cloud) but now it requires a reader and computer to access video rather than thru my iPhone. An SD reader is under $10 so no big deal. But watching videos just got a bit more difficult. And, there's no showing the police on your phone, at the scene of an accident, what happened. This is not a problem with the stereo. It's simply a convergence of signals between the dash cam and the stereo that won't allow both to work (they both use Wifi). Since the stereo has no on/off switch (power driven by the ignition to come on and go off), it will always override access to the Wifi and lock out the dash cam functionality. Tesla solved this by actually incorporating a USB drive in the car so that all the cameras that facilitate their self-drive function record as well.
