I picked up a 2004 JCW, and it appears to have ha it's DSC/ABS module swapped as I'm getting a fault code for wrong VIN.

5E1F - VIN Different

Does the car have to go back to the dealer for this coding, or is this something that could be done at an INDY? I have a few other faults to address with the ABS/DSC, one being a wheel speed sensor plausibility error, that needs addressed first. Also have a fault for it seeing voltage >18 which is weird since alternator isn't charging that high.

i suck at this stuff, but my understanding is that you can code these with the inpa suite of software. there is a learning curve. see my thread named "inpa".
