Codes P0123 and P0222

Hey all,

I replaced my air cleaner intake hose running from the stock air box to the throttle body after noticing the rubber had torn a bit. After putting the new pipe and air filter in, I started it up and checked for codes, and got P0123 and P0222. The engine idles mostly fine besides feeling a little bogged down and rpm moves as it should with my throttle pedal position, so I'm a bit stumped. It's a bit sluggish/bogged down compared to about a year or two ago, so maybe that could be a symptom of this? At this point I'm wondering now if I need to just set aside a day to do a full inspection of all the intake lines and connections. I replaced all intake gaskets and seals last time I had everything apart (maybe 2.5 years ago), and I haven't had any related codes besides a random pesky bypass valve code that seems to go away and come back at its own will.

Has anyone else had these codes pop up, and what did you find to be the issue?

You have a throttle position sensor issue. Try this to see if it makes a difference.

I ended up taking off the throttle body and testing the connections, and reset the ecu. The codes are gone, but I'm still having roughness and misfires.

Looks like I fixed most of the roughness and misfires. I swapped out the old intake boots for DDMs, replaced the chain tensioner, fuel filter, and spark plugs. I also had three vacuum leaks (fuel vapor purge solenoid was cracked, vacuum line running from this to the throttle body had the mid-split broken off, and the hose connecting the fuel regulator to the intake was leaking). Fixing all of those made it run better and got rid of the yoyoing. Now the only weird thing is an rpm dip after letting off throttle. Throttle response is better now though and it seems to start easier.
