Scan tool that can match/code SAS

Hoping people with actual experience can chime in. I recently replaced my steering angle sensor, but my Foxwell NT510 Elite was unsuccessful at matching. I continue to get the dreaded DSC/TPMS lights. I saw a video from 2019 suggesting that there were no available tools to code an R53 at the time. Can anyone confirm if this is still the case? If you have been successful, can you please share which model worked for you?

Thanks!

The Foxwell NT510 Elite will not code the R53 for SAS and had MiniCorsa in Burbank get rid of the dash light trifecta…

For resetting the SAS code on your 2002–2006 Mini Cooper, tools like Creator C501, Autoaid PRO, and iCarsoft BMM V3.0 offer great functionality. Ensure compatibility with SAS reset for your model.

I assume it would only need to be calibrated, as mentioned this can be done with INPA or ISTA.

Simply order up a DCan cable, download and install inpa or insta onto a laptop and your off to the races regarding any programming on your car!

For MINI R53 SAS calibration, the Foxwell NT530 or iCarsoft BMM V2.0 are great choices. Both offer diagnostics and SAS support tailored for MINI/BMW models.
