I'm looking for a great mechanic with solid 1st gen mini experience in Minnesota (Minneapolis area preferred if possible, but open to outliers). Our mini has some engine issues and needs expert diagnosis, and possibly some rebuild. I'm super cautious about trusting this to the general run of Euro-centric shops, without specific recommendations.

I'd really appreciate any recommendations / suggestions.
