Should I get a new seal?

Hello, I am currently changing my crankshafts seal, this is my second try as the first was worse with more rubber peel. I tried the second time and this is how it came out. The seal is now fully in place and does not look bad after pulling the peeled rubber off. My question is do I need to do it again? Or will this hold up and not cause any leaks? It does not let me upload the picture...
