Have any of you (relatively) newbie owners noticed that your MINI gets better after about a week of driving? I've found that my MCS has loosened up considerbly and feels MUCH faster. She's just rarin' to go. Whenever I glance down at the speedo (otherwise known as the "fun meter&quot I'm speeding. (Not good for my insurance, that's for sure).

I called my dealer today to let him know how much fun I'd been having. He said just wait until about 3,000 miles and then watch out. They just get faster.

Uh, hello Officer. Huh, speeding? Who, me?

I noticed it loosened up the day after I bought it. Of course I was driving back from New York to Denver and cleared the break-in period somewhere in Iowa.

 

You just have to break it in properly. The day after you get your MINI, take it to the track or to an auto-x. Then it rips!!
