R53 EML and SES light flashing

Hi all,

This is my first time ever posting about my R53, so some basic information first, I guess.

I purchased an 2005 R53 JCW about a year ago from a guy who said his family member was the first owner, and it had around 80k miles. For the first 2k miles it was absolutely amazing, but I started to notice some noises from the transmission, indicating to me that the throwout bearing was going out. I also noticed that the boots on the CV axles were beginning to go. I wanted to service the supercharger and do some other "easy" stuff that could buy me some more time with the car, so I decided when I had some free time recently to get it all done in one go. I changed the: timing chain tensioner, oil cooler gaskets, rear main seal, supercharger service, oil dipstick o-ring, rear main seal, and a few other things (cant think of them right now).

Since then, I have had the P0456 code that some others have talked about, which I have since 'fixed', and turned out to be the tube for the MAP sensor, where it meets with the plastic supercharger intake.

Anyway, since then I have it running beautifully... for about 20 minute intervals. I have had it out and about on little test drives. ~4 - 5 miles. When the engine finally gets up to temperature and I'm a little more loose on the throttle, the car will trip up and shudder. The dash lights EML and the SES (Service Engine Soon) lights flash on, as well as the wiper fluid (???) light. After that the rpm will not go above ~4.5k, until it trips again, and if the car continues running the rpm will continue to drop until it eventually dies completely. I've checked the bypass valve, and the fuel pressure line (cant remember exactly what its called) under the intercooler, as well as the serpentine belt.

I thought wiper fluid light only ever flashes when the car is first turned on, so this problem is just throwing me through a loop. It's been about 2 months without my MINI at this point and it's making me a little concerned about how much more I have to replace.

I have a VEAPEAK OBD reader, and the codes do not show up at all when I try to read them. I just don't know where to look at this point.
