Hello everyone, I am trying to do a CVT clutch adaption on my girlfriend's 2003 Mini. I have been battling an error when accessing the transmission computer but I believe it is trying to access a Mini Cooper S transmission computer.

In the R50.ENG file, it is trying to access the Aisin gsf21 transmission. The car has a GACVT16Z. I know I need to change the "Entry" in R50.ENG but I am unsure of which file to use for the CVT transmission.

Here is a photo of what I am talking about, the file is in INPA/CFGDAT/R50.ENG.

For reference the error code I am receiving when trying to access the transmission module via INPA is: "Error! Call via group file: D_EGS.GRP. IFH-0009 NO RESPONSE FROM CONTROL UNIT."

 

Hi, have you found a solution? I also would like to do a re-adaptation but I'm having your same issue
