Hello everyone,
this is my first time on the forum though I’ve been an avid lurker over the years. I have a strange issue I’ve been dealing with. A few months ago, my r53 always had the brake lights active. I changed out the brake light switch under the brake pedal, and still the same issue. I’m not sure if the switch is supposed to be in contact with the pedal, but it does not touch it while it’s resting. I had my mini in a shop for ignition work (I had to have an interlock device installed after a mistake I made) I noticed some wires were cut and taped at the end (I will include an image below ). I’m looking to sell my mini and would like to get this fixed. The last European shop I took it to lied to me saying it was fine and it turned off. They went ahead and fixed some leaks instead. They didn’t want to attempt to figure out this issue. I’d really appreciate any help. Thank you
