R50/53 Merry Merry
Last night I was at Target by Westfarms Mall, in New Britain/West Hartford, CT.
After shopping I came back to my car and there was a note:
Heart (drawn) your Mini, from another Mini owner, Merry Christmas
That was so nice after a hectic day at work, then shopping.
Merry Merry to that nice Mini owner

I just sold my Jeep. One of the things I know I will miss is the "Jeep Love" peace symbol Jeep owners give when they drive past one another. Your experience and some of the others posted on MCO give me hope that, while perhaps losing the camaraderie of one group, I will be gaining that of another.
Thanks for posting your experience!

Hey, they stole my idea! (kinda?!?!)
I'm still going to do it, i just have to think of something that'll have the same effect on people as the note you receieved had on you!
It's a good idea!
A real cheer-spreader, so i'm not surprised that someone beat me to the punch! hehehehehe
At least no one in my town (that i know of) is doing the same thing! So my idea is still pretty original!
Cheers!

I've got little flyers that are about 5x8 that have club contact info on them for any Coopers I come across and don't recognize. They say, "Ohhhh! What a nice car! Congrats!" and then have the contact info for the club. Just my way of saying hello, cool car and check out the club.
