Any recommendations on shops in Southern California that specialize in tuning R53’s?
reach out to AdrianCL here on the forum or you can reach him on Facebook @Nastase Adrian. There are plenty of reviews on his services. He will send you links to the cables you need for your laptop. As for laptop, just need a windows based laptop with a usb port and WiFi. Cost is very reasonable, and takes about 2 hours. Isn’t Cali against tuning?
again hit him up and see what he can do. im pretty sure he has done dyno tuning, he talks to you via messenger and remote connects to the laptop anyway.
From Romania? Interesting, my favorite blockchain is based out of Romania. I dropped him a message via FB just to see if he has any experience with a 1.8 stroker and tvs900.
Lol, no. I just wanted someone else to take a look. I’m getting some weird idles at lights. The rpm is fluctuating up and down a little, almost as if I’m taping the gas slightly. I’ll get a video of it today so you can see. It goes away if I’m in gear and slightly let the clutch out to where it will start to engage. After that’s it’s a smooth idle. The power band is awesome
I had asked for you to fire the tune file over few weeks back. I can take a look myself and compare directly to mine. But I can clean up your isle issues for sure. I just need the .pcl file. Yeah your e throttle target and base idle need tweaking as its oscillating.
yeah I will look it over. Load up the compare function after I tweak the idle to see what I changed and you can also check to see the rest of it hasnt been touched as well. Glad to help you out.
Left you instructions how to dump the ecu tune.
