Note of nostalgia: for those out MINI-motoring when TIJ was released in 2003...it was a blast! Lots of dealer-sponsored events and tons of wide-eyed, ogling movie-goers smiling and pointing endlessly as you motored out of (or around) the parking lot after the film. It was priceless!! Good times....

. The actual crash was cut from the movie.
Something tells me if there will be MINIs in the new film they will most likely use the new 2007 model. Why? Well its a good way to avertise fo course. So this movie may even be on hold till they can make enough stunt cars to destroy during filming
like in TIJ 1.

The classic that Charlize drove was sold at auction a few months back - little did the new owner know that since it was newer than 1978, and the government knew it (usually you can re-VIN and get away with it), he had to immediately deport it or else it would have been crushed. So she would have to drive another one. I volunteer mine, all they need to do is throw $6,000 into it, it should be a gem then! Heehee.
And Handsom Rob wound up with a DB7 Vantage Volante (means droptop), not a Vanquish.
