Exhaust leak at Cat? Can't seem to fix it

Hey all, been awhile.
My R53 has been sitting for awhile as it's needed a new manifold and I haven't had the funds until recently.
I picked up a Racing Dynamics header + cat, got it installed and am still getting that loud pinging from under the vehicle, very similar to when the original cat ball disconnected from the manifold.
I did notice when I was putting the cat on there was a bigger gap than normal between it and my Invidia exhaust. Do I need some kind of spacer or are the gaskets that came with it not good quality? Could I have not tightened the o2 sensors tight enough?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Get underneath amd figure out where it is leaking from, look for the soot. Then go from there. Not something we can remotely diagnose via text on a forum from hundreds of miles away.
