R50/53 Loose dash panel

Loose dash panel

Hey all. Recently wrapped my dash panel and this one seems loose. Cant find any clips for it and if just dangles and it’s pissing me off. Help!

I'm guessing it's an early model pre-facelift 03-04?, five panel dash.
Not much help but - The panel shown (obviously) is the airbag cover. Those clips are easily broken.
To the best my recollection; I've never gone as far as successfully removing one without breaking at least one clip/retainer.
Have you considered re-securing the loose portion (shown) with 3M VHB double-sided tape?

The top dash pad comes off easily, so if you really wanted to pull the dash pad, to get better access to the airbag cover, you can move it safely away to either place 3M double sided tape or even some hook and pile tape to secure your cover.

IIRC, that bottom part is connected with rubber pieces designed to break loose so the airbag can get through. I played with an old one and sewed it together with fishing line.
