I've read quite a few posts on plugging the silencer ports but haven't seen a post on how to do that . I wouldn't trust jb weld . Can someone please advise on this . Thanks
JB weld is fine. We do it in the lightning community all the time, with no issues. Just use tape or wax paper to keep it off the inside of the case. Tolerances are tight, and don't want any in there. Here is a picture of a Eaton M112 (Lightning SC)
Thank you . You don't worry about pieces breaking off ?
it's been done in the Ford lightning forums since before i bought my truck in 06. I was worried about that too, but i have yet to hear a failure. Its still very active over there these days
