JCW - Exhaust Ports Larger than Manifold?

Hey folks,

Was looking at the exhaust manifold and its gasket and they appear to be smaller than the ports on the head. Very restrictive. I just dropped the head at the machine shop so I cant measure it. Hoping I'm wrong, but can anyone confirm either way?

This on a 2005 JCW

I have an 04 MCS and I remember removing my stock manifold and not only was my gasket not port-matched with my head, my manifold was also not matched with my head. I ordered a racing dynamics header with a decat and the header is increased in diameter durastically yet the gasket doesnt match. Dont know whether to shave the gasket to make it match properly or leave as it is. You might wanna consider doing that. I know MiniMadAdam has done porting on his own cylinder head you can message him for questions.
