I have a 2006 r53 S and the inlet hose coming from the air cleaner has torn and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know of a U tube or suggestions on how to replace. It looks like a pretty big deal getting to the lower clamp. Any help would be appreciated. I did some searches and can not seem to find anything.

 

I’m pretty sure Mod Mini removes the intake hose in a bunch of his videos. The clamps are not a big deal, especially if you are not trying to re-use them. You can use a different style of hose clamp when you put the new one on.

On a scale of 1 to 5, this is a 1x or a 1.5. It can be frustrating, but not especially difficult and nothing you'll mess up.
It helps to have long needle nose pliers. You can get a pair from Harbor Freight; they work very well. While you're there, you can pick up some hose clamps to replace the existing.
