2003 R53- Need Hose Identification

Hi Everyone

I had a little bit of a mouse problem in my poor mini that sat idle for a while. Mr Mouse chewed threw countless things. I've handled most of it so far, but yesterday I noticed that the slight hissing I was hearing became MUCH louder. If only it was a mouse eating snake. Alas, it is the pictured hose here. However, I can't seem to locate it as a part. It's about 3.5" long x 3/4-1" in diameter. Clamped to the throttle body housing with a copper squeeze clamp. Plastic nozzle tipped pictured inserts into the hose. No clamp on that side.

CAN YOU HELP IDENTIFY THE HOSE, SO I CAN REPLACE IT? Mini of Manhattan doesn't have it on their parts diagrams.

Thanks again!

Appears to be the fuel tank breather line.

Thanks @HaltCatchFire. Any idea where I can just purchase the hose portion? If I have to replace the whole line, that is a much bigger project.

Looks like generic fuel hose to me, auto parts store would have it. Other might chime in if they know differently.

No, just take off your chewed one and go into a auto store. They'll set you up with the correct tubing.

Just to resurrect an old thread, anyone know where I might get the hose clamp for that fuel hose? mine appeared to have been replaced, but quite poorly and is rotting away. Trying to chase down a leak as well, but figured this would also be an easy replacement.

Here you go for 13907541090

The other line comes with the clip on it, not a separate part number

I just replaced that hose on my R53 as the original rubber hose was in poor condition.

It was easily done with 1/4" fuel line and a small screw-style hose clamp.

My understanding based on ECStuning's close-up of the full replacement part, is the Fuel Hose is 7.3 mm ID (inner diameter). 1/4" fuel line is the equivalent of 6.35 mm ID. I bought some, as opposed to spending ~$20 on 1 ft (or meter, i dont remember) for the proper stuff. Haven't gotten back to getting it all the way on, as I had no proper lube to assist me, its quite the tight fit. One of my racing buddies recommended just using some petroleum jelly. Plan on getting back to this in the next few days to further troubleshoot my leaking issue. Will probably try disconnecting individual hoses 1 at a time to see if the leaking noise goes away before buying any more new hoses.
