I am the original owner of an 05 S , R53 with 146,000 miles on it.
Need to replace the rear lower control a-arms because of age and can no longer make adjustments to the rear tires for proper alignment.
Can someone recommend a modestly priced pair that are adjustable and that they had good results with?
Btw, I never track it and drive annoyingly slow (99% of the time).
PS. Saw these on Outmotoring:
Adjustable Rear Control Arms: Megan Racing: Gen1+2
sku: MRS-MC-0120
weight: 10.00 lbs
brand: Megan Racing Our price:$209.95list price:$229.95 you save:9%
FWIW....
I'm not a race guy but 'have spent a lot $$ on upgrades and general maintenance on my Mini. Maybe not obscenely top $$ parts but reasonably good reliable quality so far.
This is not a recommendation: but I also went with the Dorman adjustable control arms as posted by mini_me 123.
I've had them on the car for a year now and couldn't be more happier with them. They may not be the lightest by comparison; but well worth the money.
I was lucky enough to purchase my set on Amazon for $45/ea *new* (back then). They are now listed on Amazon for a laughable/ridiculous - $414/pair.
It's good that you are opting for adjustables...Makes total sense.

Have had these sitting in a wish list on Amazon for a year or so, for whenever I get ready to do some rear suspension work. Not going to sign up for the 10x price hike though. 😳

outmotoring is the only place I've found them (this part number) for a reasonable price. Amazon, summit, etc... will show the wrong picture for a different model that doorman also carries and are steel units. I ordered these by mistake (based on wrong pics) on Amazon for cheap but they look completely different in construction. The steel doorman units did look very stout and well made but were not light as I imagine these alloy ones are.
On ebay you can pick up a chinese replica for not much money and I think the identical set is also carried by other companies (Eibach & Mevotech comes to mind).
Here are the steel units that sometimes get shipped using the wrong pic (@50/ea not a bad deal either):
Ebay has adjustable ones that are exactly like the alta version. I'm running them both upper and lower now for 2x years and 0 issues. I got all 4x of mine for around 200$ only
I found these , which were cheapest with fastest shipping but ones I got were red , I seen there's also blue ones that are exactly like the red ones I'd gotten. I'm sure there's still red ones.

Again; not necessarily an endorsement for the Dorman, but mini_me123 is right.
If you choose/consider these Dorman, be sure that you pull the trigger on the right ones.
Some are not the aluminum and adjustable as pictured.
I was fortunate to receive the correct aluminum ones without issues at a reasonable price.
