Has anyone adjusted the position of the Clutch Pedal?

Was curious if anyone has adjusted the position of the clutch pedal? I have watched some car shows where they have taken out a Pedal and 'reformed' it (by whatever means needed...i.e. heating and bending or just using different machines to manipulate the bend...etc.) I have seen this with the Alfa Spider specifically due to the location and how far over to the right the gas pedal is. They removed it and bent it so, it was moved over a couple of inches to make it more accommodating for people with normal size feet.
I have size 15 feet and have never really had an issue with the distance between the clutch and gas pedal but, on occasion my shoe/sandal will catch just for a brief instant and it is annoying. I was wondering if anyone out there has actually done this and how difficult was it?

I think most people who are concerned about the pedals just go with an aftermarket style,
here's mine:

Lots of room for various adjustment there.

Offhand, have never heard of anyone bending or reforming the stock pedals, but I'm sure someone out there has because R53 cult loves tinkering on their cars!

They appear to be universal OMP pedal covers that are bolted to the factory pedals. A google search should easily net some results.

To Oldboy's point, instead of reworking the pedals (potentially dangerous), just add a set of pedal covers and adjust as needed. You wouldn't even need to install a full set...

Yep.

OMP OA/1010

Easily found for under $40.

I used the OMP accelerator pedal as a deadpedal too, wanted to lift it up so it'd be closer to the clutch pedal, used extended spacers (painted black so appears to be floating in this pic) but could only find phillips head screws that fit when I did it using Home Depot, would like to find allen heads to match the others at some point.

There are all sorts of different pedal options out there, think that almost any of the sets marketed for BMW would work,
I almost got these from Bimmerworld before finally settling on the OMP.

In fact looked at lots of different pedals,
but many of them are quite pricey.

Still cool looking around though,
I like seeing this sorta stuff!

This place might have them.
