I have a VELVET RED MINI as well - I LOVE it. I got mine with a white top/wheels and red interior. I'm thinking about a checkerboard top as well. I've had it a week and am very close to 1200 miles.

Great Looking Car! I love the color. I didn't really get to choose mine since I wanted it right away I got one of the pre-spec'd cars. I had a small choice of color's and the velvet red wasn't one one of them. Oh well I am as happy as I can be. I've been driving mine around for a little over 6 months so I can't complain. Congrats and welcome to the MINI experience!

 

I just picked up my Velvet Red/White Cooper on Friday! I am so in love with this car, and so is everyone else around me!! :smile: Congrats and happy motoring!!

Very pretty color...but I'm not upset that the MCS had to sacrifice velvet red for electric blue! Seriously though - to me, VR is a very close 2nd to EB.

I'll second that. I would have had a much harder time with paint choice if it had been available for the s. Excellent choice!

You guys are GREAT. Thanks for the compliments. I really LOVE this car and the color and all of the questions about it -- at least for now. I've never heard the words "WHAT IS IT" so much in my life. LOL
