A question for the forum:

What sound can I expect to hear when the ABS activates? After three years of ownership of my 2002 R50 I finally had a opportunity to activate the ABS in a somewhat controlled manner (11 inches of snow compacted into four inches of muck on a side street).

I did feel a pulse in the brake pedal but the noise what not what I expected.

No codes, no dash lights.

Probably like a muffled machine gun noise.....at least my cars with ABS sounds like that
