Crank Pulley issue

I have kind of a interesting issue my Alta 2% crank pulley is wobbling and i believe is the cause of my front main seal leaking i am aware of the stock pulley causing this but i didn't think a alta one would too i went ahead and ordered the 2% ati pulley and a new seal but i just want to see if that is the cause or if something else did it

Yeah just put that Alta pulley where it belongs, in the bin with the beer cans. Those lightened pulleys are a great way to ruin your engine. I recommend you buy a Superdamper or a stock pulley.

There's a reason why the stock pulley is heavy.

ok while yes that’s funny and I agree with replacing it with a dampener I’m still trying to source the cause of my front main seal leak

Seals sometimes just leak. I wouldn't worry too much about why it's leaking, unless the new one starts leaking soon after installing it.

I'm not trying to be funny, it's no longer a dampener, it's cheap drive pulley made out of aluminum on a press fit crank snout. I bet the sealing surface has a defect from being pressed on or the crank harmonics are so bad they're beating up the seal. I've never been a fan of Alta products, some things they get right, others are just junk to steal your money
