Adriancl is working at it.. he's downloaded a few special things on my pc to better monitor my systems and hopefully soon we find what the issue is...
we got it to pull harder and better at wide open throttle but now my partial throttle and normal driving drive ability is gaaaaaaarbage. I just wish someone was even somewhat close by to me that could do my tuning.. it's hard to explain to Adrian the issues my car is experiencing and when data shows him its running well , there's nothing he can do on his end..I almost NEED someone to " tune it on the fly "..
but my tensioner is starting to go bad so it's only time befor the belt begins slipping. Taking on and off the belt too may times and then the quick ,hard throttle stabs during retuning today has taken its toll on the pos sprintex tensioner setup.. Owell.. all in the name of power ! Lol
thankGod Adriancl is patient because I suuuuuuuuck with pc's and he's really been helping me..
MUCH APPRECIATED ADRIANCL !!!!!!

Interesting. I thought Adrian didn't use Bytetronik. I wonder why he's using the dataviewer, which costs extra on top of FA. I guess it works for other logging as well on just a csv file or something?

Im.hoing to ask Adrian to turn back on my rear 02s and not tune out any codes...I'm then going to switch my cars exhausts and run it exactly like I am on my other car so it didn't need the rear 02 adjusted via tune and just start from scratch then if there no cel on once I swap exhausts.
I'm also wanting to downsize my injectorsfrom 550cc to 440cc inhopes that they scale better as they match my jp ratings better. I'm going to replace my tensioner too just to eliminate any belt slippage that may accur since it's gotten worn out from belt removal so much..
idk what else to do really but gotta start somewhere.

I don't use Bytetronik, and Adam laptop need a lot of improvements to be able to see logs as excel data, for that reason i used Bytetronik Data viewer.I don't have Bytetronik sw,as I said before can't tune a R53 with big hardware modificatons using Bytetronik. And i'm not so rich to pay few hundred dollars for a tool which can be used only for one car.I use Winols editor, even is not user -friendly, is the best tunig software ever.

They're reputable allright. Search through the forums and you'll find the Brisk plugs have a reputation for backing out of the head. There's a long history there. Get rid of them.
I'll use your own lingo so you'll understand. They're JUUUUUUUNNNNNNNKKKKKK.

Detroit Tuned may be a reference you should check out in terms of pointing in right direction. There is also a shop in the Chicago area that focuses on modifying Minis.

yea i read that but then read also stock plugs were doing it too. You just can't use antiseaze on the plugs and check torque on them after a few drive cycles...
I'm not down on power from something simple as a sparkplug. A plug change isn't going to give Me my 30-40hp that feels like it's missing.. but I actually did try swapping over my other mini entire ignition setup just to see and no change.. on this mini I'm now running a screaming demon coilpack ( only coil for our car that is 40k volts ) , nology hotwires ( kinda of a gimmick but they're lifetime warranty so why not ) and brisk step colder sparkplugs..
I'm also having my tune reworked from scratch because along the waytime ask for certain things in my tune like tune out rear 02s , then tune out another code from my high boost and other things....Ive also changed my exhaust from pacesetter to nVidia and instead of tuning out the rear 02 sensor I'm going to trick the ecu with a defouler so it will pass emissions AND have no cel for no cats.

Yea thumper SUCKS . I wish I would have never bought my trr2 head..after researching and doing more reading I guess these heads are prone to non sealing exhaust valves even brand new from retailer.. so I bought mine used and guy sold his built car for dirt cheap and I got parts off it..I'm willing to bet he ran into what I did.. threw a bunch of money at his car only to be upset in the end and sells it off..
soon as I have my car back together I better run a compression test and make sure my heads valves are sealing because that could be where my powers going...

Does thumper stamp his head? Is it possible the guy you got it from hand ported it himself and sold it as a thumper?

No complaint here with Jan @ RMW (at 285HP). . . though Jan is always busy, with a line waiting for quality parts, as well as assembled heads, engines, and suspension parts.

Oh, I don't care it's well known. Cant deny what former employees and fabricators say. Sure maybe one or two but when they all come together and say the exact thing..... He still has a few kool-aide drinkers who defend whatever he does but even most of them are gone sans two really die-hard ones. You'll hear stories of deaths lack of materials pretty much scammers playbook 101. Forgot to ship lost the tracking it came back to me etc etc etc. Jan and his massive ego were his undoing. He just rebranded what other people created. Jan himself does nothing other than tuning. Anyone who has talked to him about in-depth things will see that VERY quickly. Last person, I talked to directly was Cole Duran who developed the FMIC system for the RMW turbo kit. He was involved in the giant lawsuit he said. There is a reason he has changed the business name numerous times. He just likes to spew garbage to distract from the actual truth. His company did bring forth amazing products. But Jan was not at the helm of any of the actual development. He contracted people to create amazin IP then just slapped the RMW logo on it. The Widebody Kit was made in Australia and I am working on bringing 6 of those stateside in a container when I can. Anyway, I digress. Bottom line if I had cash to spend I would spend it on a ric woods head in this day and age. Better chance of actually getting the product.

Oh I know I've seen it all and got to experience it firsthand. Now that thumpers out of the head business somebody needs to develop a new CNC program and start pumping out big valve heads. There's a bunch of guys doing it in the UK but in the US it's kind of frustrating

I did lidar my RMW head but I don't think it would really be ethical to release that program. Ric Woods legit makes a solid CNC offering that is pretty much the uk equivalent. It took a tremendous amount of cash to hit 318whp with legit Quality parts and e85. I wouldn't expect to hit my numbers on anything less than what I have or a turbo setup. I am running 24 psi from the tvs and crazy pulley/crank setup and meth threw the rmw head. also os twin disc (overkill) and Os 1.5 lsd. So much money. Prob 35k in the entire car between original purchase brakes suspension etc.

Yes my head was stamped and I tryst the seller but stuff happens..I better do that leakdpwn test soon as I got everything back together. I switched exhausts and will be running a defpuler in it for my rear 02 and I need to install a new tensioner..just waiting for the parts to arrive and then Adrian will again help me on the tuning..

yea I hear ya... but my head I got was also a bvh so the larger valves were a dead giveaway along with the stamp. And it hadn't been cleaned either and what little carbon build up was inline with what the seller told me. The community on here is a pretty solid bunch , I've met some awesome people through NAM.
