I am a little concerned... I am installing the m7 heat shield (blanket) and the top bolt is what came off the valve cover. The bottom is what m7 sent to replace it.
Now I'm no engineer, but the Mini bolt seems a little more engineered than the m7 bolt. Is it really okay to replace it? I have no leaks and I don't want to create any...
Thanks!

Reason: Change title after tragic screwing accident
So, since I am going to be replacing my valve cover, I thought I'd upgrade the intercooler while I've got it off. Anything else I should consider while I'm at it?
Also, is it worth getting a proper torque wrench in inch-pounds? I don't want to break the new cover, and I want to be sure there are no leaks.
Sure its not the best in internal design, but for that price point it makes a very good "bang for buck" in my book. And for a little over 100 bucks, for me it was worth a shot (and I love it )
