Haven't seen much of the Vols this year, but have seen every Uconn game so far and though I don't seea "butt Kickin" ( ), I do think that it will be a close game that either team could take. They are NOT the old Husky team, I will tell ya that, but they certainly started to look good against Providence this last week.

Sorry all, but I do love this team .... I'll shut up now

Hollypeno

We have a chihuahua, Holly-peno, and she does not like the MINI. I dont know if its the way that I drive, the leather or some sound the MINI makes, but she does not really like riding in the it. We have a Nissan Murano as well and the Holly loves riding in that. She is a great car dog, but you can tell she is nervous in the MINI. Anyways I could not resist this thread as an chance to talk about my second love in life (my Holly).

My 95 pound Rottie mix loves to go for rides in the MINI. She is even good at knowing when to shift her weight for the turns. Lean Puppy, leeeeean.

I can let you know in a couple weeks when I get my MINI. I have a 70lb Weimaraner and a 109lb Bullmastiff. I'm sure they'll fit just fine. If you would like to crate your dog when travelling in the MINI a smaller dog would be a better choice. Dogs are awsome.

Armani was 4 years old. It was all pretty sudden so we had to put him down. Dogs are amazing animals. You could be mad at everything in the world but they always make the effort to make you feel better. When I move into a home with a yard there will be another lab riding around

cheers

My beagle loves to ride in the MINI, or any car... Seems like most dogs like to go for rides... young dogs should probably be taken for rides regularly to get them used to it... we had a dog when I was a kid that usually threw up when riding in a car... yuck!

Dogspeed.

My dog has been in the car since he was so little and he loves it more than anything. He could stand my driving in any condition, but my friend almost throw up many times.

My dog hates riding in my MINI

I have an 85lb. Yellow labrador retreiver. She can't stand riding in the MINI. I put the seats down for her, but that makes it worse, because the trunk and the seatbacks aren't level to each other. She just can't get comfortable. She shakes like she's shivering cold, and whines horribly, even on trips just around the corner.

My advice: big dogs and MINI's don't mix. Hope you have another vehicle at your disposal that is bigger. My wife drives a Honda CR-V, which the dog loves. Lots of flat, open space, and the windows in the back go down, allowing her to put her head out the window. Good luck.

My Black Lab loves the MINI,the back seats are down all the time, she rides with me ALL the time, and she sleeps in the very back, snoring away.

Big Dogs=No MINI 4 me

My two mutts Lucy and Hank LOVE riding in the car, but I don't take them in the MINI....
First they are about 60 lbs. each, and they love to stick their noses out the window...

Since the MINI windows don't go down in back, they just pant all over the windows...and since there's two of them, no front seat (we discourage that anyways, though as soon as we get out and leave them in the car, Hank jumps up front...when we come back, he hops back into "his" seat...

He loves rides so much, he'll hop into the car or truck and just sit or lay in there for hours, hoping we're going for a ride...but he's not allowed in the MINI...(though he's been found in the back several times when the hatch was left up!)

Fortunately, we have a "dogmobile" Subaru Forester, and a dog/horse-mobile Suburban (for towing only) but the MINI is off limits, except when necessary for trips to the vet, etc...I would only plan to haul a small dog around in my MINI, myself...but I guess thats cause I have an alternative....it is a drag, sometimes...dogs or MINI? (if I'm alone, its usually MINI)
