R53 JCW Crankshaft toasted!

Hey guys I have an 06 R53 JCW and have been working on an engine rebuild for quite some time now. Really taking the time to educate myself on parts etc.. The previous owner ran the car with no oil after a minor accident and I knew the engine was toast. I just got word back from the machine shop and they said my Crankshaft needs to be replaced and not worth trying to salvage. Whats the best place to purchase a new OEM crankshaft? and are their any performance crankshafts worth considering? I saw RMW has a billet one but not in stock. I need something asap...

If you have a hard time finding a good crank shaft...you can have the journals "hard chromed" oversize, then ground back to size. The chrome (or "hard" chrome as some like to say) leaves a VERY hard surface.
I've had a couple of "orphan" (hard to find) cranks done that way with great results.
