i think I’ll install the purge valve first. If that doesn’t do it, the tmap is next…

I’m getting close to 150k or so miles now. So maybe it’s time.

why not, it’s just money right

I was thinking maybe the o2 sensors and cam and crank. Too far?

edit: maybe I should start with tmap sensor, then purge valve? Because I’ve replaced the purged valve recently although not with oe part

T-map sensor replaced, cleaned the plug with electrical cleaner. Purring like a cat. Fuel trims are dead on. Pops and bangs are back. No codes.

going to return the purge valve.

Here’s a pic of the old sensor. Look OE to y’all?

No, FAE is an aftermarket brand afaik. OE has different stamps on them. I can take pics if you really want to know

The new sensor should be OE. I’ll get a pic and lets see if it matches what you have.

I’ve been running the old one since I bought the car in 2014…

Fcpeuro got back. They say “continental” is the new OE provider.

anyone buy genuine t-map sensor lately that can confirm?

not that I have trust issues, but I have trust issues
