DSC control module?

Is it a true statement that if we replace a DSC control module with a used one with the same part number that no re-programming will be required?

Typically, that is a false statement, the module will likely need to be re-coded. It interacts with the engine and trans control modules and needs to know which drivetrain variant it's dealing with.

When I changed mine, I think just the steering angle needed recalibrated and the lights reset.

My light is on and dealer said I need to replace the module. Any tips on where I can get a used one?

$30 on ebay. Just make sure you get the same part number.
