Hello, All! Tis been a long time since being here! I've missed you All! My beautiful 2006 Mini Cooper S, (only 62 thou miles) on her won't pass inspection. The Foreign Car mechanic cleared codes and is now "Drive Into Readiness". (The last time I had to do this I only drove her about 25 miles - mixed, 25mp to 65mph.) Codes are: PO326, Knock Sensor out of Range and PO456, Evap Small Leak - Lube Fuel Cap. What may you All recommend I do to cycle the readiness ...miles, etc? Many Thanks! abbey 1

 

Why won't it pass inspection? You in CA or the NE? I have lived in both of those areas with my MINI, and never had a problem with it passing smog inspection. I had that code because of a gasket on the filler cap seal - replaced the gasket and all was good. Fairly easy job. Dunno - drive it around for awhile until it seems good. I'm in the wild west right now - no inspections of any sort here.
