PCV valve ok, still building pressure, now what ?

Hello again, just when I thought I was done ! Cleaned the PCV valve on the mini, (05s stage one build) still have a lot of pressure when car is running and oil fill cap removed. Looked at hose and grey plastic line back to crankcase seems fine. Could a small leak where this grey line clicks into the case be causing all this pressure? The red plastic grommet seems a bit loose but hose stays in. What are the next areas to check for ? No engine lights or anything, car runs fine. Once in a while will take a few cranks when starting hot. Diagnosing this is not anywhere in the Bentley manual as far as I can see.. As always thanks in advance for the help!-E

Replace the valve if it has never been changed. The red plastic seeming loose is normal btw
