is there a plug and play resistor for the airbags instead of soldering one for the r53 airbag ?

upgrading my seats soon.

What year? If it is an '06 and you have a passenger seat occupant sensor, you are wasting your time, like I already did. You will not be able to use resistors on the airbag or seat-belts on the '06 with occupant sensor. I have a race seat and no passenger seat. I removed my occupant sensor from the passenger seat and have it hooked up. I'm using the seat belt latch from the passenger seat on the driver's side with a DIY seat-belt click-thingy inserted so it thinks the belt is latched. Also, removed the airbag from the passenger seat and when I hook that up I get zero lights on the dash. Don't care so much about the airbag light, but the seat-belt light came with the dinging.

yes that’s what I’m worried about it. I have an 06. Cooper S.

so i just have to remove the passenger sensor and plug it back in? They make seatbelt those seatbelt clip for those purposes.

Thank You
