Map sensor bad?

A few days ago I posted that I noticed my car was down on power and thought it was due to the gas I put in it. Well it wasn’t, last night my cel came on and when checked it came up Manifold pressure sensor high voltage or something like that. Could that be causing the problem?

Also with it being cold out I can get 20 psi of boost with my mods and my DSC light comes on too when I hit that boost level.

I had a similar issue with my "06 JCW....mine turned out to be a bad T-Map sensor that is attached to the intake manifold right behind the radiator.

Seems high for the crank/SC pulley you are running. How are you measuring boost?

stock ecu cant handle that much boost, and it shouldnt be that high with just those mods

I've had map sensors fail on both my cars, but only the one on the intake, never the tmap

The T-Map sensor is the one bolted to the aluminum intake....the regular Map sensor is down by the thermostat

I think it should check your cathalyst,it may be broken and the exhaust gas may be blocked, this leads to a large increase in the intake pressure.
