I have a ‘05 R53 does this have the capability to engage the DRLs? If so how?

 

yes...should be coded already, unless your high beam bulbs are burned out. They take a beating when shutting the hood all the time

If your car isn't coded for DRL, then the dealer can do this for you, for a price. Or find someone that can get into the coding of the cars computer to do it.

You might want to check your fuses and relays...someone may have removed them for some reason

Both my cars, '04 & '06 have the DRL's activated

It's just a matter of coding of Body Computer, using NCS Expert .

 

High beams are good so that’s where the DRLs shine through huh. I just bought the led turn signals with the LED halos and was wanting to use those for the DRLs. Guess that won’t work then.
