Aftermarket tailights cause fast blink blinker

I got the led Taillights and everything went in well and they work properly except for 1 thing , they caused my blinker speed to increase. They blink normal the 1st few blinks then speed up and blink at that rate..
There is some kind of resistor thingy in line on one of the wires, could it be the wrong size ?
Any tips on how to correct this ? If not no big deal as they look niiiiiiice.

Odds are you're correct, the inline resistor is probably not sized correctly or just not good quality. there's a good chance that after a few blinks it overheats and quits working.
you can try replacing it, either with the same ohms rating or even a little higher.
